The scene wasnt JUST about learning she is the greatest demon-killer in existence, it's mirrored by her protégé-pseudodaughter following in her footsteps by flying infront of the same moon, and the revelation that the magic she specifically taught Fern to use as "the standard offensive magic" literally isn't the normal zoltrak but a modified version mean to be especially deadly to demons. It's a statement that entire existence is for the eradication of those foul creatures. She's turn the magic that kills humans directly around into magic that kills demons with such single-mindedness that it became her's, and by extension, fern's default. I'm willing to bet fern has never fired the actual zoltrak ever in her life because she was only ever taught the demon-killing variant. The music is very fitting for the scene because of how fucking cool she is
