>what is the legality of trapping your property if you clearly label that you have traps on your property?
Reckless endangerment and all charges that stem from it. The concept in law is that you cant set deadly traps because you dont control the weapon, you arent asserting a right to self defense by identifying and perceiving a threat, you are basically shooting into a crowd or swinging a sword at a crowd of unknown people that you havent identified as a threat. If someone sends pizza's to your house, you might not have ordered it, but a pizza delivery person would reasonably expect that you had invited them onto your property and would be entitled to walk up to your door and knock on it. Even inside your home the same situation exists, there are people that can reasonably access your home (like police for exigent cirmstances; firefighters, etc) and you cant attack them.
Also you can just warn your way out of things, you cant put a sign in your yard that says "my dog kills people", and then if the pizza delivery guy comes to deliver pizzas and your dog kills him in your yard, you are still going to get reckless charges. You cant just warn people that your weapons are reckless, and make yourself exempt from legal requirements for use of force.
