Checked. I don't think Eywa's doing it on purpose. I wouldn't be surprised to find out after all this time, the RDA is discovering ways to disrupt her abilities to control the planet. They have seen that Jake moved bodies and Kiri is able to control animals. They surely want that power. So maybe they block her control of that area and the volcano erupts then those Na'vi go nuts on her.
