I noticed that my ex friend began to be a lot more critical of the things I said or did,like he would check me on dumb stuff I said just for a joke, or if I said something factually incorrect he would make sure to call me out on it in front of everyone.
he didn't initate conversations with me any more, and seemed more annoyed by my presence. Ignored requests to play Vidya with him as well or would make up some excuse.

nintendo is just becoming more corporate, they are focusing more on profit during this time and less on creativity or risks. its sad many people will think this era is peak nintendo.
