I'm a reaper addict. Love the reach, the pogo, the silk drops on heal, the sound effects, it's sooo good.

I tried Wanderer but it felt so puny, little pokes with a weak sound effect, tiny pogo, etc. I switched back, but now I'm thinking maybe I want more DPS bc I keep running out of shards all of a sudden. I can't rely on my tools to be available all the time, so I want to invest in spells instead.

My first impression was that Wanderer was S tier bc Quick Slash is broken. It's turned out to be true now that we have more info hasn't it?

The lighting isn't great, but the game knows how to use light and darkness effectively and a lot of games from that era have nice, shiny specular textures that give everything a "wet" look. Furthermore, a lot of detail was hand-painted into diffuse textures to compensate for the lack of technical effects that are much more common today.
These days, developers "let the engine handle it", which often results in a flat, artless look that you're familiar with if you've ever seen a single UE5 game.
