a sizable minority of mormons really REALLY want to be part of the larger liberal world. partly because the religion places a big emphasis on being kind and loving (that means ya gotta accept the gays, right?) and they follow that current to the total exclusion of everything else the religion teaches. partly because they are low T types doing a picrel. if you have ever seen Sanderson he does not exude a lot of rugged masculinity.
