>You want to win with less effort
>For me, the reward is always proportional to the effort.
You make it sound like you'd enjoy climbing Mount Everest naked. Everyone wants to put their effort into some cause, but it always has to be proportional to a reward, because we're all human.
You may enjoy practising combo execution for hours in a padded cell, but to me it just sounds like work instead of fun. The only part of fighting games that appeals to me is the strategy, which is why I only ever got competent at YOMI Hustle (why can't /doko/ play that?)

If you pick up a fightan, I will too, because there's a glimmer of hope I may best you one day. I don't think it's possible to motivate yourself to play figthing games without someone you know close in skill to you.
