actually had a boomer ask me if it was supercharged because with the hellcat airbox and durango intake you can clearly hear the induction noise and opening/closing of the throttle body from the front of the car.

American V6s were always truck engines for working vehicles even back in the '20s, anon. Buick and GMC had 60-degree V6 in haulers even before Lancia won the WRC with one. It is the patrician choice.
what i don't get is people who buy a european "luxury" car and it's got an economy-tier sub 3-liter i6 with an ebay turbo on it and then they spend another 20k making it not blow up just to be slightly slower than a supercharged us minivan v6
