It's so ridiculous. They keep making these games with protagonists that will never work, and they keep doubling down, even while their company is making massive layoffs and facing bankruptcy. How can you be so delusional? Just having a female mc is already bad for sales, but an african female mc is like the worst protagonist for sales engagement of them all, and they KEEP doing it. I dont know if its hubris that they think they can force it if they try, or they're so delusional they think it won't crash. We've known all this shit for decades, molyneux famously got into an argument with microsoft execs for not being allowed to just HAVE an african woman on the box of fable 2, let alone as the main character. But they keep doubling down, over and over again.
