I'm willing to shill you CleanFall and Robot Girl's Dream if you're open for suggestions. The former is Noita but you build a flying fortress instead of wands and the latter is a time management sim/VN/Sword and Sandals but with robots.

Basically, imagine a Vanillaware game but made by a guy who REALLY likes JRPG autism from the 90s and 00s. As in, Revision managed to get an actual artist from Vanillaware to redo all the portraits and boss sprites, which is why it looks so familiar.
