I think Julia's pretty much the archetypal normal girl when normal meant fairly grounded and human instead of batshit insane soul-crushing spiritual prostitute. I'm not really much for waifushit so I can only assume, but I can see why her personality is appealing in that it doesn't really challenge anything.
