Unless you’re Nintendo you just hop on whatevers trending. Right now the biggest trend is just remaking or rehashing shit. So I won’t act surprised if and when a remake of the entire trilogy gets made. Then it underperforms and whatever company that made it goes under. All of our childhood franchises and forms of media are just at the mercy of people who see it as a way of cashing in on monetary trends.

The platformer genre is just dead in general and probably has very little chance of a real revival.

I liked Boom for Sticks crazy antics. Something about her voice and disdain for technology and distrusting glowniggers really speaks to me.
