I have had an idea for an RPG with a combat system inspired by UT and DRDanganronpa where the combat is you debating people and trying to get them to a state where they can't argue back, with all sorts of mechanics to represent real world convo manipulation.
You can try to be fair and only use regular debate and refutation "ACTs" but many opponents will take advantage of that and do things like ridicule you, or try to overwhelm you with pedantics to destroy your stamina, literally dodge your arguments altogether, try to switch subjects, etc.
So you'll have to get on their level and use some of that too, like you try to ad hominem a person and play a minigame to determine how on-point you are and how miffed they get.
I really think there's something to this if I keep refining this idea, though I imagine most normal people will think I'm a Berdly-tier loser for making a game about something like this
