>Nix and daniels had nearly identical seasons
Nix was drafted to a team that went 8-9 and won two more games (one against rested starters). Daniels was drafted to a team that went 4-13 and won 8 more games then 2 playoff games (on the road).
You must be trolling. There's no way you actually watched both teams and can't understand the difference. Denver's defense was good, Washington's was below average. How many times did Bo have to win games? What I mean, is how many 4th quarter drives did he have to put together? Daniels did it pretty much every week.

>they didn't have any impressive wins the whole season and almost choked it in multiple games against shit teams
I think you're overrating >us. The team Week 1 was aggressively mediocre. When we finally got a winning season, everyone I know was fucking elated because we thought that was our ceiling. Beating the Cardinals, Falcons, Bears, etc isn't impressive in hindsight because of how far Washington went. But at the time, those teams were our peers. Beating the Bengals was kinda crazy though, I think that one was impressive. And ofc we lost to teams like the Bucs and Ravens, which everyone expected.
What was impressive about this team is just how clutch they were. I know I'm the "Daniels slurper" but it's for a reason. This kid elevated this team so fucking much. He doesn't let the moment get to him, he's extremely dependable. From the perspective of a CCG appearance team, narrow wins against the Saints and Cowboys isn't impressive. But from the perspective of a 4 win team with a rookie QB, 1 elite WR, a TE1 who everyone said was washed, and a defense which was the definition of mediocre; going 12-5 before winning 2 playoff games on the road was extremely impressive. And a huge amount of the credit for that goes to Daniels. So, so, SO many of our games came down to 4th quarter or OT heroics, and Daniels always delivered.
