this law was passed under the tories when they had a majority 2~ years ago, and has only come into force under labour (got into power last year) who has done absolutely zilch to repeal it and seemingly in support of it. these two parties are supposed to be centre-right and centre-left respectively, and power flip flops between them. at certain points they almost seem like the same party. current scenario being one. both parties also love infinite foreigners and fucking over the poor (very ironic for labour if you know their history & how the party was founded) 2029 will be a reform government though, a first pretty much in the entire history of the country (3rd party gov) but i reckon they won't have a rats arse what they're doing.
