The disarmament is actually pretty much as bad as the meme. In 3145, after 10 years of rearmament, you have 1/3 the mech forces of darkest 3025. If you read the novels, only something like 2.5 regiments of mechs made it under Fortress in 3135 before Levin pushed the button. A measly battalion of Steel Wolves nearly took Terra in 3134. The RAT's for ED: DA support this with the agromechs in there for major forces in 3132.

Also, Stone was a sonnovabitch who used MD pheromone tech to make people like him, and focused on raping the people that used to be on his side as soon as he woke up instead of his enemies. Eruptio was a total shitshow.
