Are you parents still alive? Mine are and I would never want to end my life and leave them without their child. That is a cruel thing and regardless of how life turned out they did their best and don't deserve that.

One of my best friends is describing me his process when he volunteered to donate blood and the experience seems traumatizing, oh boy. I also wonder if I might be even ABLE to donate if I have high blood sugar (due to a medication I take, olanzapine).

Sorry if it was too long, fren. Just don't be so harsh on yourself, and don't think that being a good or maybe quieter person means that you're missing out on the things other people are living. I don't think assholes or people who do risky but exciting things 24/7 live very healthy or happy lives.
