they also never explicitly said whether or not they had FTL in the Alien universe although
they pretty much have to have it for some of these dates to make any sense at all
the blink and you'll miss it text from the file on Parker from Aliens makes reference to FTL
but I dont think they expected anyone to be able to read any of that in the time its visible
on screen
