Service sucks nowadays. Waiters dont even pretend to be nice anymore, same with any cashier or I guess assistant in any store. You try to be polite and they just give you nothing but a blank expression and one word response at best. Whats worse is that if you match the energy they get even more pissy. Its almost like as a customer youre the one expected to be kind and service workers are allowed to be complete assholes.
