How does she do it?

haven't seen anyone talk about how insanely FAT and TANKY KoD rodya is
>has +5 defense level by default (13~% dmg reduction)
>at 45 sp she also takes 20% less HP damage from attacks
>5 stacks of protection sword gives her another 5 defense levels
>blessing gives her 3 stacks of protection
isn't that like 60-70% total damage reduction?
She can probably tank a rip space to the face and only take single digit damage
