>They've been doing it a lot lately, everyone seems really tight-knit and like they're best friends even when they used to fight a lot. A good example of this would be Amy and Rouge, who fought each other viciously and made it very clear they don't like each other. Then for some reason they made them good gal pal friends who talk about makeup or whatever together, it came out of nowhere.
That's something that bothers me too. There's not much character contrast when everyone acts like close friends. Like, Amy used to not like Tails or Knuckles very much, they didn't like her very much either, and they were all chill about it, but now it seems like everyone wants to write them as family.
