I hate that they did this because we do not get to see Abrham at all after this, from the way he talks in the anime tie in and the way he spoke in that non canon bonus dialogue in extra mode he's willing to make up with Shadow

However Shadow will never care, he didn't care to begin with and Inzuka loathes the idea of Shadow having people to give an actual shit about that aren't Maria, even in Crossworlds he brings up Maria as the only reason he's never killed Charmy Bee.

Inzuka is just as much o a problem with this franchise as the western writers and I'm tired of pretending he's not, Kishimoto to, Nakumura likes Silver and Blaze but isn't the one who forces them to be nothing but ship bait, have no plots, have no urgency of their own outside of Sonic's adventures and end up in this psuedo box of spin of hell like Waluigi, Daisy and Rosalina suffer in the mario franchise, fucking hell Pauline was brought back from the vault and turned into damn near the new heroine of the series because Miyamoto wanted to bring her back and Miyamoto has constantly said to him the franchise has no canon the characters are all stage actors which is why there's no timeline why Pauline can be a loli in one game and a grown woman in the next why Bowser can have a son and not a mother and the Koopalings who were once billed as Bowsers children have been reconned into being his elite soliders one step above Boom Boom and Pom Pom and why he let Chris Pratt and Seth Rogan bastardize the characters and limited Luigi's screen time to suc han extent his mild scenes were the most in character in the fucking movie

How the fuck is IDW supposed to be "important" when SEGA actively sabotages their own licensed comic? Stanley straight up confirmed that SEGA refuses to give IDW the resources they need for the approval process, which is just insane when you think about it.

Every single comic has to go through this bureaucratic nightmare where IDW editors review it first, then it sits in SEGA's licensing department for who knows how long. This directly hurts how many issues IDW can pump out per year because they're constantly waiting on SEGA's slow-ass approval process. Meanwhile SEGA acts like they don't give a shit and won't allocate proper staff to review the comics in a timely manner.

It's honestly pathetic that SEGA treats IDW like such an afterthought that they're willing to tank the comic's sales potential just because they can't be bothered to streamline their approval process. At least we know nowadays human characters actually exist in sonic's world.
But they are usually on big metropolis instead of local towns.
Glam maria became popular again, while profesor victoria looks like she's gonna became an important character in the future, funny enough soleanna and princess elise are still part of the sonic lore, and for some reason makes me happy sega is firm in conserving some things on the franchise.
