Ultimately I prefer yuristelle and snekstelle where josette is forced to have her crush with estelle, this is because joshua is a heroine and too passive. He simply ignores josette due to his oneitis where as in the fanfic stories estelle is constantly pushing josettes buttons. In the actual canon josette doesn't ever do anything to endear herself to you ever. She doesn't become the one person who can save her family, she doesn't get over herself and beg estelle for help since joshua is there on the liberark, shes not able to last more than 1 turn against vander. Basically falcom never let Josette ever shine. Even on the game play side she is considered one of the worst (though personally I think the ability to push back enemies could be pretty useful I never liked her enough to get gud using her if such a task is even possible.)

i dont understand this take and replies. Theres no way anyone with a brain can think AI is useless. it has clear uses, you can ask it questions, you can get answers, you can form parasocial relationships if you want. It's a genuinely useful feature even without SAS at this point.
