You misunderstand. A Georgist land value tax system only taxes the raw land value which is mostly community-created windfalls from roads and cities popping up. Farmers get a tax cut on their actual work, land prices crash speculators can't hoard it for free. No more debt spirals for Bob buying gear; he thrives and subsidies are obsolete in a fair system. And John Smith? Thats every person working 9-5 getting taxed on every breath. LVT swaps that for zero income/sales/capital gains tax, wages skyrocket as land monopolies shatter.
