That's getting more granular. I was just being high level. Tempo is kind of a sub-category to aggro, in mtg terms something like "red deck wins" or burn would be another subcategory.
Pic related is what is burned into my mind as an archetypal midrange card. Immediately provides value when it hits the board, and at that cost it is unlikely that an opponent can efficiently answer it.
