I've watched some of them and seen enough to finally figure it out. Vtubers are the archetypical quirk chungus. They are very mid attainable women who act really autistic, random screaming, overreactions, all sorts of weird rules and some autists idea of a keyfabe. They have these autistic OCs as their avatars no different from old tumblr fursonas.
These women act weird and attainable and they make sexual innuendos as their entire sense of humor. These women are complete losers if they didn't have this vtuber thing they would just marry some ugly man wearing Star Wars shirts who would put up with them. Vtubing has allowed them to stream to thousands of men who are all what their husband would have been if they didn't stream.
These are insufferable women who only get tolerated because they are represented by a hot anime girl. If you saw a 5/10 woman in real life acting like this you would be repulsed.
But vtubers like kirsche are an outliner. This is just a woman doing a political grift. She isn't like the quirk chungus women, she even gets rid of the vtuber model and just puts a little jpeg in the corner because she doesn't want to do vtubing. Vtubing is just a grift she got on and she got attention and views from this. Kirsche is more comparable to those old skeptic channels like Sargon of Akkad who have a cartoon to represent them.
