Third world shitholes have 100%++ import fees and retailers also tack on huge profit margins on top of it since they know only the very wealthy will be buying the high end hardware anyway. The 5090 currently comes out to about 4000 USD where I live, the Switch 2 is about 1000 USD.

I think you fundamentally misunderstood what the thread is about. This is in reference to games where the save system is *only* quicksaving and quickloading, which is functionally the same as what you're calling savestates. These games have no checkpoints, dedicated save terminals, etc. It's savestates or get booted back to the start of the game
