When farming for 9* Stamina spark, Rudolf is a pretty good parent pick right? She has an extremely strong passable skill, her campaign requires her to do multiple G1 races, and she has (from what I can tell) a pretty large affinity

Can anyone please explain to me what the point of the "Debuffs everyone in front of you if you're in the back half of the pack at late race" skills are? Why would I want something that only happens if i'm almost guaranteed to lose?

Why is it that half of the horses i.e. Tachyon, Grass, Rudolf, all have debuffs that only activate when they're in the back of the pack late-race, yet they're all Pace Chasers?
