i think they need to do more fantasy in 199x with you know guns and baseball bats and old technology but you know not do it weeb style like persona and not do it rAnDoM aNd cRaZy like earthbound, there are plenty of other modern world rpgs that could be explored

i'm kinda surprised that the ff7 remake didn't inspire devs to make more rpgs set in that time period of technology

am i allowed to say pixel remastered here

i feel like the pixel remastered series has obsoleted all NES/SNES FF games with the bugfixing, boost mechanic, proper translation, and better but still kinda sorta retro graphics

i own ff1, ff6, and once i clear SMT, i'm gonna pick up ff4 and ff5
