weather has been very hot this week and i'm a bit tired after it, thankfully its cooler today. made some progress with my game, mostly tiding up stuff and working on level touch ups. going to try remake parts of the larger megastructure parts in hammer and import them, godot's csg cubes aren't great and i'd prefer to use a proper csg tool. there's also dialogue scripts and npc models to work on so might do some of that today as well
also started a small side project, been liking armored core 2 so decided to try make a clone of it in unity. going to stick with the megastructure stuff again since i like them and they were great in armored core 6, and they're fun to work on. thinking of making the mech movement somewhere between ac2 and ac6
its been a while since i did something for the youtube channel so i'm thinking of doing another but short peripeteia review with extra gameplay, like a general sam video

managed to get a fix for work so i don't have to think about it over the weekend. made some slow but happy progress with my game, mostly doing work on the level areas and code refactors. hoping to work on other parts of the level and dialogue writing since i haven't done much with them for a while. the megastructure level parts also need to be worked on since i haven't done much with them for months, so might try remaking them in hammer and importing the map into godot. would have used trenchbroom but godot fucking hates it. hoping to get a demo ready for agdg demo day 64 next month
