What's the difference between commanding "fire torpedoes" and "fire torpedoes, full spread"?
I don't think they ever specify firing a certain amount of torpedoes unless it's like "fire a torpedo", after that it's just "fire torpedos". Wouldn't it make sense to order shit like "fire a torpedo at *this system*, then fire torpedo *here*, and for good measure fire three torpedos aimed at their bridge just to ensure that they're dead".
I know sometimes they *aim* with the phasers but torpedos just seem to be the "fuck you die now" answer and I demand to know the minutiae behind the torpedo procedure according to Starfleet regulations.
