Now if you play for the gacha then I guess its okay to only care for the OCs.

That's what they do though.
They are not spamming only 3H or OCs but you have communities who want them to spam them. Supposedly FE fans not just say people who only care about 3H or OCs.
Like the fact we got a banner of Thracia whos should be a cool thing.
Yeah maybe a bunch of them have not played that many FEs but I would hope they have played a fair share to get interested in some variety in FE repping in that.

Its okay I also liked engage characters.
Almost all of Vander and Mauvier supports are cool.
The supports of Vander with Clanne and Framme are very cute like how he tells Framme he sees her as the daughter that he never had.
