The corporations have many tools at their disposal for shifting the bar of standards away from the hands of the unorganized individual consumers so they can milk revenue more and more while delivering less. Using standards of commerce that have already been in effect and needed a glossary update to map onto new technologies is not at odds with the freedoms of commerce.
