The miniature game with 8th ed. because it was actually manageable. I still believe that index 8th ed. was the best edition there ever was and I'll die on that hill (I have played games of 7th).
Into 40k I got many years earlier due to the FFG RPGs.
now I have a dozen armies and I am trapped in Stockholm syndrom hell.
