It sucks man. DNC can be fun, but 8 man content can suck to queue into because it feels like there is nearly always another and it fucks with my tech step (and in alliance raids, it'll aways put the only other dancer in queue in my party)
NIN is fun, but I always fumble the rotation
BLM i have no clue
Healers are fucking abysmal
I feel like my only option is tanks and I have no clue how to handle tank stuff outside of dungeons.

I spent Endwalker post patches coping hard that Dawntrail was going to be a return to form and that 6.x was just a blip.
Then I spent 7.0 coping hard that the story is shit because they had things to set up but even then I couldn't make myself play it over 2-3 days like I normally would a new expansion launch, it took me a month to get through 7.0.
The experience soured me so much that I unsubbed and haven't played it since but watched it on stream every so often in the hope the game would improve.
It has not.

I'm losing all faith, especially since Yoship seems hellbent on turning the game into an action game instead of the rpg it has always been.
Crafting is boring and nothing actually teaches you the processes and using your skills until you suddenly have expert crafts and shit where you can't macro
Gathering is okay, but so heavily botted that there's almost no fucking reason to do any of it outside of fishing
Combat jobs are feeling boring, healers especially.
Most dps jobs heavily punish small mess ups becausd of how rigid everything is, but they're all boring to actually run besides fucking dancer and bard because of rng procs.
Healers, holy shit healers are fucking terrible.
One button for 27 seconds, one button pressed every 30s. That is 90% of your button presses for any of the four. Most heals are ocgd or just instant so there is no feeling of needing to react properly or plan your casting.
And tanks are just fucking weaker dps that make the boss hit them. Aggro management doesn't exist and the one fucking time they had to actually try they cried until their aoe combo got enmity boosts.
