Because ironmans aren't hard or cognitively demanding. /vfeg/'s insistence that they're the premier FE challenge run in preference to efficiency autism (which actually requires thought and planning, instead of retard tier spontaneity and accepting the consequences) has always come across massive insecure cope. Ironman is just playing without deaths; you don't die a lot if you're competent at FE, so it's a non-challenge. Accepting deaths is also a sloppy way to play, it's basically admitting you couldn't have done better. Yes, I've participated in the relays, yes it's a fun way to play in a group setting, no it isn't hard or even interesting to watch outside of the entertaining fuckups (might not even occur if you're good).
