Why are XIVies on /v/ still pretending that they're dying visual novel "mmo" with zero rpg elements, scripted DDR fights and a dogshit story is still better than WoW?

Seriously how did /v/ come to despise WoW do much but become obsessed with FFXIV of all MMOs? Genuinely what does this game have (other than better ERP) that WOW doesn't? Genuine unironic question. Especially after Dawntrail.
