sling really doesn't have comparable dps to shattering unless the enemy is resistant to magic...
shattering is a high tier dps sorcery and sling is like medium assuming you get to cuddle the enemy fulltime
also sling has like 7 fp cost and shattering costs around 32
I think sling is more comparable to carian slicer now that im thinking more about it
but slicer probably still outperforms it because magic does more by default and bestial incants are sort of baseline damage with decent stance and good aoe

Being eepy is simply a part of life, but bug burning will continue.. later

they don't... depends on the incant and enemy size but some giantsflame do have higher dps depending
and some are far safer
