As someone who actually did like the first one, it was virtually impossible to discuss that game on /v/ without being drowned out by the usual Sony moviegame shitposting, from pretty much the moment it first launched until 7 years later when the Joel death spoiler leaked a couple months before the sequel and all of a sudden this board became full of asshurt Joelfags acting outraged that Druckmann would kill off their favorite protagonist from a game they always hated.
