To be fair to Persona, when you go into Persona you know what you're gonna get. You know it's oldschool Newgrounds flash game style "build your stats every day and fight shit at night" while increasing the bonds with the social links and going through the monster of the week.
When you go into Final Fantasy and you get some "open world" checklist chore simulator, you have to pause and double check to make sure you're actually playing a Final Fantasy game and not an MMO or a gacha.
