The devs took that opportunity to go back to the drawing board and revamp the gameplay thinking they could garner more sales through its infamy and as soon as it came out, hardly anyone played it. Same thing will happen to 4D.

This marketing strategy only works when the memes are relevant and everytime the Publishers keep doing this thing with the IP where they're so late to the party everyone just gossips about it for a couple of days until there's another Current Happening to hyped for. Irony might get eyes on your game, but when it comes to sales no one has your back.

Also go back and really watch that trailer and ask yourself if the game looks finished and brimming with interesting stuff to do.

Thinking of it now, Zeldafags back in the day were insecure.
