Some companies do a better job of both communicating and making the versions the SAME across regions, which is why P5X is eating such a big stink right now.
The cheapest example so far is there is some kind of Standard SSR Selector early-ish, and the 3rd banner girl goes to Standard. Due to speed-up, they're holding her out of standard for some uncommunicated period of time after he banner ends, causing her to be ineligible for said ticket.
Just a lot of small shit that adds up.
