When i go to sleep and i have closed my eyes for maybe 1-2 minutes i hear a very distinctive click sound (not sure if the sound is in my head) and then 0.1 second later see white flashes with my eyes still closed, im not in sleep yet but perfectly awake. I never have these in the day, or even when taking a nap in the day, only at night. Also iam sure the click sound is not caused by any appliance etc. If this happens it only happens once per night. I started having these maybe once a month about 5 years ago. I live in a small apartment by myself. Anybody else have these or any idea what it is?
