Funny thing about that, half of those artillery shells they're turning into knives were originally lobbed at them during Mao's many failed attempts to forcefully re-integrate the island under the CCP out of absolute bitter spite. Wanna know what's even funnier? Half of those knives are sold back to the mainland every year thus bolstering their economy.
