It's a forgone conclusion that a hypothetical Mania card would be bad, but so long as they keep her in the symbiote suit and not attempt to draw a human, it should be fine.
Worst Case Ontario [sic]: They use one of her modern suits, which are too derivative of preexisting symbiote designs (Scream, etc)

I think the issue is, a lot of chips get swapped out between games, and there are few consistent entries, but
>For BN1, Hero Sword was simple, powerful, and came out fast - it imprinted on me early, and I was always happy to see it in future entries. Savescummed at the trader for a massive folder of these
>BN2 reintroduced HeroSwrd, but locked it behind those gray chip traders, and I had to learn the power of Cyclone paired with +ATK chips. Guardian first appeared in this game, and 200 piercing damage to all enemies made it my bread and butter for most battles. Special mention to the EleBall chips that made their first, and last appearance here - I used HeatBall + Grass Field to clear a lot of the WWW area blocker viruses. I only knew the Lifesword input for VarSwrd, so it never really stood out to me. FireRat was also cool, because I could enable it with my HeatGuts charge shot. Aesthetically, I enjoyed the CrseShld, Anubis, Shadow, Geddon3 and Invis chips, but trying to make a thematic deck around the edgy stuff didn't really pan out
>BN3 introduced a ton of new viruses, and thus, chips, but a lot of them were weird, and I didn't really like them. I absolutely loved the Virus Tamer chips, and used them all in my alphabet soup deck, because I love my pets. Sanctuary/Aura combos were my favourite to employ, but I also loved stuff like Volcano, BlkBomb, & BigWave also saw a lot of use. Heroswrd returned as a Megachip.. but what do you mean it's only 180 damage? This is bullshit - they nerfed it. At least Guardian is fine.
>BN4, I detested chips and viruses being locked behind NG+, but I really, really enjoyed the elemental manipulation chips, like the conical breaths that would leave behind associated panels, and the lamp chips that shot out coloured flames - they were aesthetically pleasing. Stuff like VDoll and BugBomb were also interesting, but I only used the former. Guardian returns, but HeroSwrd doesn't...

>finish the job
They wouldn't agree to a job, if one died at the start - Prometheus would probably rampage until he became inoperable, and Pandora would either become unresponsive, and refuse to move from Prometheus' side, or self-terminate upon hearing the news.
You need to give your characters a reason to give a shit about the plot; neither would try to seek redemption, if the other is gone, because the only emotional support present during their life would be gone - in the audio drama, Prometheus has a nightmare where they're both fleeing from Mavericks, which shows Pandora is ingrained in his subconscious mind; it's clear they have a sibling connection forged through hardship, that can't be handwaved with 'oh well my sibling is dead i guess i'll save the world i suddenly care about????'
You could probably write the amnesiac angle, where one is recovered, and wakes up in a bed with no real idea of what transpired, but that's just kicking the can down the road - memories will eventually return, and the question to immediately address, is going to be "Where is ?", and the the situation is going to be worse, when "Why didn't you tell me?" follows it, leading back to the first paragraph.
The ticking clock element can be addressed through many methods - partial extensions through repairs by capable third parties (Ciel is human? Have her do it, she has the credentials), still functioning repair capsules (Both siblings show some level of hacking capabilities, so they could probably rig it), bio-metal mcguffin shenanigans (Ciel is a bio-metal? Have her provide life/power/hope, the antithesis to Model W), simply having the plot operate at anime speed ('5 minutes until namek explodes', etc), have it render them inert, but alive to be recovered (Albert's plan would have been massively set back, if they had let the timer tick down, and didn't pay out their centuries of negativity - EXPLICITLY the key that awakened ouroborous at the end of ZXA)

Hmm, there was speculation about it getting C&D'd, but searching on archives - for /vg/ at least - there doesn't seem to be anything concrete, just discussion about why it might have gotten C&D'd
two of which are my posts lmfao
So yeah, might just be talking out my ass
