But I thought about something I think a week ago.
I used to have a step mom. My dad eventually married her and got a kid with her.
I lived with my dad and step mom from when I was 11-15 ish.
She used to always be rude and talk shit about me. Used to insult me in front of my dad and if I showed even 1 % of retalation my dad would shut me down or at times scream.
I never understood growing up why she hated me, but I realised I guess seeing your partners offspring from a different partner drives you nuts. It's not like I had any choice in it I didn't choose the relationship and life choices of my parents I just lived under them. Idk if she was even aware over her hating me or if it was just instinctual at that point. I haven't really seen her or my dad since I was 15 though so idk. Foggy memories
