Someone please explain to me what skills do again. What I've gathered:

Speed: Max speed
Stamina: How long you can run. Some things (skills, acceleration) make your stamina drain faster?
Power: How fast you accelerate and also how easily you can pass other umas?
Guts: Something about the final quarter of the race?
Wit: How often your skills activate and also something about how good your uma is at putting herself in the right place for her position?

I'm having trouble understanding what skills to train for which position, except sprinter. Also I guess the way some umas have weird career campaigns with races of variable length keeps tripping me up...
