activating a continuous card is like summoning a monster (card is staying continuously on the field) as seen in Solemn Judgenent then this is also the reason why the "when summoned" effects are analogous to "when activated" effects. it just so happens that chaining to a summon is extremely stupid (hurr durr, summoning doesn't start a chain)
