I think the most impressive thing about this game is the world never resets even when you go through another subarea. All the terrain you destroy and all the objects you interact with stay exactly where they are. Also holy shit are the transformations songs good. I wish I wasn't spoiled on K.Rool because watching him show up and the entire finale would have blown my mind. They wanted to make DK into the ultimate power fantasy and they nailed it.
