if you want to turn it into ''legit'' writing, you use it as a rough draft, only keep some plot points and details and build from the ground up. see it as a kid drawing a skyscraper, it kinda looks cool and you want that window design and color scheme, you still adesign a whole skyscraper. hope it helps.
